1930 was an important year in football.
The first ever World Cup finals were held in Uruguay and on the 30th of June the final between Uruguay and Argentina took place.
Uruguay became the first ever World Cup champions defeating Argentina 4-2 in front of 93,000 people at the Estadio Centenario.
That result is forever lasting in football history but 3nil wanted to honour that day by highlighting a different and unique story. Before the match there was a disagreement over who would provide the match ball for the final. FIFA intervened and decided that each team provide the match ball for each half.
The two famous footballs are displayed on this design.
3nil presents ’1930′. A game of two halves.
